COVID-19 UPDATE
Every weekend, ShotVet teams protect pets (and people, in the case of Rabies) from the spread of deadly illnesses and parasites. Distemper, parvo, rabies can spread like wildfire in communities. The work we do as veterinarians is life saving and considered an essential service by state, local, and federal officials.

Based on this, ShotVet will continue to provide clinics across the country while closely monitoring the CDC, federal, state, and local directives. The safety of our staff and pet parents is critical, so we have taken several additional steps for enhanced disinfecting, increased social distancing, adjusting our procedures, etc.

To help us keep everyone safe, we ask pet parents to adopt the following guidelines:

  • If you are not feeling well or are quarantined due to potential COVID-19 exposure, please stay home.
  • SAVE A SPOT – We ask all pet parents to utilize Save A Spot pre-registration on our clinic locator page. This will allow us to text you updates if we have to change or postpone a clinic. By pre-registering from the comfort of your home, you limit time needed at the clinic.
  • FASTPAWS Pre-Pay Option – Pet parents can now pre-pay online which will expedite the process and limit how much interaction time is needed to get pets immunized.
  • Social Distancing – Please limit the number of people coming to the clinic with each pet. We ask that pet parents leave space between themselves and others. At some clinics, ShotVet staff may text pet parents when it is time to approach the vet table.
  • Waived Shipping Charges – on Parasite Prevention Prescriptions such as Tick, Flea, and Heartworm Preventions. If your pet has visited one of our vets in the past year, please Order Online or call our office and we will mail your order to your home.
  • Drive Thru service – At the end of our clinics, if time permits, we will offer this service for elderly or special needs pet parents. Please call our office to request this and we will do our best to come out to your car and vaccinate your pet. DO NOT use Drive Thru Service if you are not feeling well or if anyone in your household is quarantined due to potential COVID-19 exposure.
  • Most importantly – Thank You for your understanding and patience with us and each other. We are all trying to do our best to keep pets and pet parents healthy. We are grateful you are part of our ShotVet family.

Sincerely Yours,

Jen Borgman
CEO, ShotVet
