Comfortis is a beef-flavored tablet that kills fleas and prevents flea infestations on your pet for one month.
Which Pets Should Use It?
Comfortis is for both dogs and cats. It’s approved for use in cats 14 weeks of age or older and 4.1 pounds of body weight or greater. It’s approved for dogs 14 weeks of age or older and 5.0 pounds of body weight or greater.
What Are The Benefits?
Comfortis is a fast acting, effective flea control. There is no sticky residue since it is an oral medication so there is no need to isolate your pet. You can let your dog go to the groomer or swim without concern that the product will rub off or become less effective.
Is There A Generic Available?

How Is It Given?
Give Comfortis with food for maximum effectiveness. Because it is a flavored tablet, it can be offered just prior to or just after feeding. You can also administer Comfortis as you would other tablet medications.
