What Is Trifexis?
Trifexis is a monthly, chewable tablet for dogs. Trifexis kills fleas and prevents flea infestations on dogs. It also treats and controls adult hookworm*, whipworm and roundworm infections, and prevents heartworm disease.
Which Pets Should Use It?
Trifexis is for use in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age or older and also 5 pounds of body weight or greater.

With Trifexis®(spinosad + milbemycin oxime), protecting your dog from parasites is one and done: once a month, every month. Trifexis is the monthly tablet with beef-flavoring for dogs that: Kills fleas in dogs and prevents infestations, Prevents heartworm disease in dogs, Treats and controls adult hookworm*, roundworm and whipworm infections.
Is There A Generic Available?
There is currently no generic substitute available.
How Is It given?
Give your dog the entire chewable to eat, while also making sure to give it with food. Encourage your dog to chew in bites, yet not swallow whole. Additionally, many dogs will eat it right out of your hand!
